Originally a tomboy from the small town of Energy, Illinios, Jamie’s radio career started in Kansas City, and has taken her to Phoenix, San Diego, Denver and Los Angeles. In 1998, she moved to Los Angeles with the show. From 1999 – 2005, she partnered with former Partridge Family star Danny Bonaduce for the “Jamie and Danny Show”. In addition to her radio work, she also acted in the 2001 movie Rockstar and was featured on the 2006 TV show RockStar: SuperNova. In 2006, she welcomed her greatest achievement – son Kayden. Now 3 years old, Kayden helps keep Jamie grounded and gives Jamie a unique “working mom” perspective that she will bring to Sacramento listeners on 106.5 The Buzz. And, she was voted mother of the year (so, she says).

Ryan grew up in “The Home of 1,600 Good Eggs…and a few Stinkers” (we’re not kidding…that’s actually what the sign says as you head into Stuart, Iowa). His radio career started in his bedroom, where he would record songs off the radio and replace the real DJ’s voice with his own on a cassette recorder. One day, those silly dreams became a reality in Des Moines, where he worked at a number of radio stations, before moving to Columbus, OH to be part of a morning show. Fast-forward to June of 2009, when Ryan meets Jamie White. We’re told the pictures are pretty incriminating. He’s happy to have found his new “older sister he never wanted,” and happy to have found his new home at 106.5 The Buzz.

Ok….let’s see…..I’m a freak for the 90’s…..just like you.So it works out nicely that I’ll be chit-chatting with you and playin’ your favorite 90’s songs every afternoon. I graduated in ’94….I cried when Kurt Cobain died…. I have two cats. Baxter is crossed-eyed, one time I saw him jump directly into the refrigerator-door….I just pretended I didn’t notice…..didn’t want to embarrass him. And Gracie, who looks like an impossibly-tiny-pony. My fave 90’s movies are Titanic, Pulp Fiction and Aladdin (what I can’t like a cartoon?!?!) And I believe No Rain by Blind Melon is the best song of the 90s…..and if you disagree, I’ll fight you. (watch out, I fight-dirty.) I love the BUZZ ‘cause, even though I’ve been in radio for years…..I still get my mind blown all the time listening to these songs. They never fail to remind me of something stupid….errr AWESOME I did with my friends in ’97. And I can’t wait to hear about the awesome stuff YOU did while these songs were playin’ on the radio. So call me! It’ll be therapeutic.

Andy Hawk was born and raised right smack here in Carmichael, CA. While attending St. John Evangelist School and Jesuit High School, Andy figured out his niche in life as an awkward, yet adorable kid loving the music of the 90’s that spoke to him as a youth. Andy moved to San Diego in 96, and graduated from San Diego State in 2000. Andy moved back to Sacramento for a job in radio in early 2004 and has become a household name in Sacramento since. Today, Andy is the Music Director here at The Buzz and does traffic and weather, while taking pride in adding his voice of reason each morning to the Jamie White Show. Andy is a happily married man of two years to his wife Brooke, and spends way too much time involved in the local music scene, and watching sports and political shows on television. Andy has seen every episode of Two and a Half Men, and can also be heard controlling the airwaves of The Buzz on Sundays from 10am-4pm.
